Blackburn Square Shopping Centre is preparing to welcome NeNe Chicken Australia, with a new store listed as “Coming Soon” on the official NeNe Chicken locations page.

The announcement was also teased on social media, where Blackburn Square’s Facebook page posted: “Feeling like some Korean fried chicken? Look no further, as NeNe Chicken Australia is coming to Blackburn Square!” NeNe Chicken’s official Facebook page similarly confirmed the upcoming launch.

According to NeNe Chicken’s website, the new store will be located at Shop 14, 66–104 Springfield Road, Blackburn VIC 3130. The site currently shows a “Coming Soon” status, with both pickup and delivery services expected. 

NeNe Chicken, an international Korean fried chicken franchise originally from South Korea, has been steadily expanding across Australia. Their menu features crunchy, marinated fried chicken and classic Korean street food offerings.

The arrival of NeNe Chicken at Blackburn Square will add to the centre’s food precinct appeal and give locals another popular quick-service option. Stay tuned for more details on the grand opening date, menu preview, and opening promotions.
