Popular Aussie burger chain Burger Urge is bringing its flavour-packed menu to Wilsonton, with a brand-new restaurant opening in late September 2025. This will be the brand’s second Toowoomba location, adding to the success of its first Burger Urge Toowoomba store, which opened back in 2017.

The new Burger Urge Wilsonton restaurant will be located in a busy food precinct alongside well-known national and international eateries. Customers can expect the chain’s trademark gourmet burgers served in a fun, themed space inspired by the cult film Empire Records, mixing indie pop vibes, vintage music, and retro style.

Franchise Development Manager Veronica Gravolin said the opening reflects the strength of the brand and the passion of its local franchise partners.

“Opening a second venue in Toowoomba shows the demand for our food and the commitment of our franchisees to providing great hospitality and connecting with their community,” she said.

With its signature gourmet burgers, quirky themed fit-outs and community spirit, Burger Urge Wilsonton is expected to be a popular new dining spot for Toowoomba locals. The team says more updates, including the official opening date, will be announced soon.
