Burger Urge was founded in 2007 in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, by brothers Sean and Colby Carthew.
It started with a clear goal to serve “ridiculously good burgers” made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and full of bold flavour, without pretension.
From a humble hole-in-the-wall on Brunswick Street, it quickly gained a reputation for quality gourmet burgers combined with a fun, themed restaurant experience.
Over 18 years, the brand has expanded to over 30 stores across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and the Northern Territory, building a fiercely loyal following and standing out in the competitive fast-food market.
