Popular fried chicken franchise Pappa Flock has officially landed in Queensland, opening its largest-ever restaurant at Westfield Chermside. This marks the brand’s 10th location nationwide and its first in the Sunshine State.

The new outlet spans 209 square metres and seats approximately 58 diners, making it significantly larger than Pappa Flock’s Rouse Hill and Marrickville locations in New South Wales, which seat 52 and 40 guests respectively.

To celebrate the grand opening, Pappa Flock hosted a special giveaway event on Saturday, August 16, offering the first customers in line by 12:00 p.m. a free Flock Box, the brand’s signature meal. The Flock Box—valued at $17.90—features three crispy chicken tenders, chips, buttery toast, Pappa Flock’s house-made sauce, and a drink.

“We’re excited to bring our unique fried chicken experience to Queensland and open our biggest store yet,” a spokesperson for Pappa Flock said. “The response from local customers has been fantastic, and we’re just getting started.”

The Queensland expansion doesn’t stop here. Pappa Flock confirmed that a second location is already in the works, set to open in Mt. Gravatt by the end of September.

Founded in Australia, Pappa Flock has quickly built a loyal following with its modern take on crispy fried chicken and bold flavours.

With this latest milestone, the brand continues to position itself as a rising star in Australia’s fast-casual dining scene.
