Royal Stacks, Melbourne’s premium burger franchise, has announced plans to reach 50 restaurants by 2030, shifting focus from metro CBD sites to suburban and regional Victoria.
New locations in Springwood and Croydon have already opened, with Croydon also introducing frozen yogurt to the menu—adding a fresh twist to the brand’s signature burger lineup. More sites in Moonee Ponds and Malvern are set to launch within three months, continuing the chain’s suburban momentum.
General Manager Nick Campese said flagship venues like the MCG have built brand recognition, creating strong demand outside the city. Future growth will include Ballarat, Bendigo, and other regional hubs, where Royal Stacks plans to open larger-format restaurants designed for families and communities.
Franchise Development Manager Theo Tsianakas confirmed the chain’s strategy: build statewide strength, then expand interstate and internationally, creating opportunities for multi-unit franchise ownership in key growth markets.
