Zarraffa's Rockhampton

Zarraffa’s Coffee has expanded its Central Queensland footprint with the opening of a third Rockhampton store at Tenancy 2, 65 George Street, Rockhampton South. This follows the April launch of the Gracemere location—Zarraffa’s 79th store—and its recent expansion into South Australia.

The new store is operated by franchisees Madyson McCall and Lachlan Beirne, who also own the Gracemere location. Both began their journey through Zarraffa’s Manager Program on the Sunshine Coast before relocating to Rockhampton, where they now run two thriving stores.

Rockhampton South features a next-generation format that combines the speed of Zarraffa’s signature drive-thru service with the comfort of indoor café seating. This flexible model is designed to meet evolving customer preferences while offering a welcoming community space.

The store will employ around 30 local staff, with several team members from Gracemere promoted into senior roles at the new outlet. This continuity ensures smooth operations while supporting local career growth.

Zarraffa’s CEO Marnie Sheldon said the Rockhampton South opening is part of a broader strategy to expand into high-visibility, high-convenience regional locations. The brand is targeting 200+ stores nationally by 2032, continuing to invest in regional markets as key drivers of growth.
