🍔 Jollibee Fast Food Chain Confirms Major Expansion into Australia Within Two Years

Sydney, Australia – April 2025 – Jollibee Foods Corporation plans to expand in Australia by opening up to 100 burger franchises in Australia over the next two years. The famous Filipino fast-food chain, known for its Chickenjoy, burgers, and spaghetti, is excited to enter the Australian market as part of its strategy for global growth.

Jollibee already operates over 5,000 stores in more than 30 countries and has built a loyal following in Asia and North America. Now, it wants to attract Australian customers with its tasty and affordable food.

“Australia is a market with great potential for us,” said Ernesto Tanmantiong, CEO of Jollibee Foods Corporation. “With its diverse culture and love for fast food, we believe Australians will enjoy our fun and flavorful menu. Our aim is to establish a strong presence and bring something new to the local food scene.”

Expansion Plans and New Brands

Jollibee plans to introduce other brands from its global portfolio, such as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Highlands Coffee, and Compose Coffee. These brands will support Jollibee’s quick-service experience and help create a variety of options in Australian cities.

The first Jollibee restaurant will open in Sydney in late 2025, with more locations planned in key urban areas. The company will choose locations with high foot traffic, such as shopping centres and busy streets. They will also adjust the menu to include items specifically for the Australian market.

Franchise Opportunities

Jollibee’s growth in Australia offers a good chance for franchise investors. The company is looking for local partners to help expand the brand into new cities. With its strong brand recognition, marketing support, and successful business model, Jollibee is set for success and could be one of the most profitable franchises in the competitive fast-food market.

“This is a great opportunity for experienced franchisees to work with a successful global brand,” said Eden Dayao, Jollibee’s Regional Director for Australia. “We want motivated investors who love the Jollibee brand and want to join us on this exciting journey.”
