About the Franchise

Baskin-Robbins is part of a globally recognised brand, operated in Australia by Palm Oasis Ventures, a joint venture between Galadari Brothers (80%) and Dunkin’ Brands (20%)

The concept brings the iconic “31 flavours” to life (and beyond), offering scoop-by-scoop variety, ice-cream cakes, specialty sundaes, beverages, and more creative frozen treats.

The business model emphasizes:

– Strong brand equity: Trusted name known worldwide for innovation in flavours
– Proven systems: A tested franchise system with global business infrastructure and support tools
– Growth-driven focus: Clear strategy and resources allocated to long-term expansion in Australia

How the Franchise Started?

Baskin-Robbins expanded into Australia in 1989 and has since become part of the familiar landscape of local ice-cream favourites.

In 2013, a pivotal master franchise joint venture was established with Galadari Brothers (Palm Oasis Ventures), aiming to more than triple the brand’s presence in Australia by opening around 200 additional parlours.

Currently, there are around 80 locations across Australia, with ambitious expansion plans underway to boost the network by 25%, particularly in Queensland and Western Australia.
