How the Franchise Started?

Chicken Treat was founded in 1974 by Frank Romano in Western Australia, introducing the public to a unique Mediterranean-style rotisserie cooking method for chicken.

Starting from a single shop in Midland, the brand quickly grew in popularity for its succulent, slow-cooked rotisserie chicken and crunchy fried chicken, alongside innovative chicken burgers and fresh sides.

Over more than four decades, Chicken Treat became a Western Australian institution, with a cult-like following, known for quality, flavour, and value.
